We decided to escape for a couple of nights and boy, did we make a great choice! Val and Peter really made us feel at home, welcoming us with open arms. The room was spotless and the bed super cozy. Breakfast was such a treat, offering everything from fresh fruit to a hearty full English. Plus, with a tram stop right outside, we had easy access to attractions like the Pleasure Beach, just a short ride away.

The breakfast offered a wonderful variety of choices.
We encountered a few bumps during our stay. First off, the parking was a real hassle, especially during the busy times when it seemed impossible to find a spot. our room, while cozy, felt a bit outdated and could use some refreshment to truly enhance the experience.

We loved the fresh milk for tea in our cozy room and the breakfasts were a highlight, with lots of tasty options. Staying with my father was wonderful as we shared laughter while enjoying the sea views from our room. The proximity to good local attractions kept the kids entertained too.
In my wife’s opinion, a play area for the kids would be great.
